5.0 out of 5 stars G00D 80's Metal
One of the few 80's Metal albums where every song is good - this album brings back memories! Even the non singles off this album are good. If you like 80's hair metal, you need to have this album.

This album is good . Its an average metal album with the exception of Wild Child which is a very good song. This album is not so good as the previous was but its a nice place to start if you are new to Wasp.

5.0 out of 5 stars rust in peace beloved metal..., May 13, 2005

No one who wasn't alive when this album was released should leave a review, because this was symbolic of the period in rock-n-roll (call it hair-band, I prefer to call it Metal) that a lot of us grew up listening to. Comparing this to modern metal is like comparing Johnny Cash to Alan Jackson...each is great in its own time, in its own way! And if you are thinking of buying this album, DO IT!!! it rocks! and also pick up the first album (self titled) WASP. I snuck into the office in high school, locked the door, and played the whole song "school daze" over the intercom before they stopped me. Later!

5.0 out of 5 stars hair metal?, June 3, 2006
This review is from: Last Command (Dig) (Audio CD)
I DONT THINK SO!! These guys are far beyong hair metal - they are true heavy metal and not that false metal stuff - this stuff is actually rockin' and heavy. W.A.S.P. gets unfortunate genre-ing of hair metal just because of what they look but these guys bang their heads and go crazy! Just like Motley Crue, they are HEAVY METAL and not HAIR METAL!!! Get it right people - it's about the music man

5.0 out of 5 stars WILD BLIND CHILD IN TEXAS, December 11, 2009
This review is from: Last Command (Dig) (Audio CD)
The second album from the legendary W.A.S.P represents a more mature and sophistication since the debut one.
The amazing voice of Blackie Lawless is stronger and better than the previous album. The lyrics are more profound and well composed. Wild Child is a great anthem very strong with a lot of rebel attitude very characteristic of Blackie himself.
Congratulations to Snapper Records for the remastering and inclusion of B-sides tracks of these 80's hard n'heavy classics.

4.0 out of 5 stars Glad Howland isn't on this one, November 24, 2009
This review is from: Last Command (Dig) (Audio CD)
WASP is so much better when Stet Howland isn't in the band.
Blackie was smart to fire that idiot.
I know nobody really knows who he is as he's nothing more than a bar star.
Such a loser.
LONG LIVE WASP!
Great album - great songs.

5.0 out of 5 stars this is for the wild children only!, December 3, 2004
This review is from: Last Command (Dig) (Audio CD)
when you put this album on, look out for flying rump roasts! seriously, because your enraged neighbors will be throwing rump roasts or anything else at you that they can find. and original guitarist chris holmes was knocked out by one in europe when blackie said they were going to play animal (f--- like a beast). to sum it all up, this is a nasty a$$ band. if you like metal and hard rock, this definitely belongs in your collection, but don't get it if you like softy crap like van halen.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Early West Coast Metal, October 19, 2007
This review is from: Last Command (Dig) (Audio CD)
Before the term "Hair Metal" was coined, and a billion bands came along during the late 80's and really ruined the metal scene (that become a joke) there were solid west coast metal bands such as Motley Crue (pre Theater of Pain) and Ratt, but a band that seems to get lost in the shuffle is WASP. Wasp had a certain rawness to them, that put them over the edge of other bands of the time. Not as heavy as early Metallica, nor did they have the thrash/black/death or whatever you wanted to call Early Celtic Frost,Venom, and Kreator, yet they did have a really heavy sound generated by the guitar playing of Chris Holmes, and Blackie Lawless was the mastermind of the sleezy lyrics. "The last Command" is my favorite WASP album, and its a bit stronger then the debut. Sadly the bad would only make one more Great album, which was "Inside the Electric Circus" and the average "The headless children" and then they would fade into obscurity only to reincarate themselves with a batch of piss poor albums. This one is the best of the bunch and is a headbangers delight no matter what kind of "Metal" you like
