A combination of scientific thriller, religious satire, and New Age mysticism, this debut novel offers a view of what might happen as the end of the millennium approaches. Beset by his own doubts and lack of strong faith, Feldman is nevertheless fascinated and attracted by the mysterious Jeza. I don't give five star reviews, but in this instance, I was tempted. THE LAST DAY is unique among the books I've read in this genre. It is a startling, unsettling--but ultimately positive--look at what could happen at a "Second Coming." Not at all what you'll expect, be prepared for something thought provoking and eye-opening. Definitely different.

They don't come any more exciting than this. From the first page, this novel sizzles along at a dizzying pace, taking you on one wild ride into the unknown. The detail is astonishing. I can't imagine the hours of research that went into developing the plotline, but it is very well thought out, very tight. It's that attention to detail that gives this story such realism. The "What if?" scenario is completely credible. The suspense is unbearable. If you enjoy thrillers, this one delivers, and with a slam dunk ending you cannot anticipate. Two thumbs up.

If you want to let go of a lot of longstanding, pent-up emotions, this is the book to do it for you. I found myself silently cheering throughout, getting really caught up in what this book has to say. There are things in here that somebody should have said a long, long time ago. I'm thankful I've had a chance to see it happen. This man tells the truth, and he lays it on the line like nobody else I've ever read. It took guts to write this and I'm sure it's tweaking a lot of noses, but I say, more power to you, Glenn Kleier!
