Kerry McLeod is a graduate of the University of Texas, with a B.S. in Psychology. She spent the first 15 years of her career working for Fortune 500 companies such as Cox Enterprises, Inc., and McGraw-Hill Publishing in various sales and marketing positions. In 2001, nine months after the birth of her daughter, she left the safe world of the corporate "gravy train" and cautiously entered the challenging and oftentimes treacherous world of the stay-at-home/working-from-home moms club. Currently, she is a freelance marketing consultant and a Sport Nutrition Certified Instructor.
Kerry also has the title of "recovering junk-food junkie" on her resume. For most of her adult life, her diet consisted of empty calories from highly processed foods, sans anything remotely healthy. In her early thirties, she decided it was time to change her evil diet and nutrition ways and began looking for an easy-to-implement eating plan that she could apply to the real worldhers. Over the next seven years, she tried many diet plans, but found that they were either too complicated, too labor-intensive, or too restrictiveno dairy, no mixing carbs and proteins, low carb, high protein, and of course the dreadedno sugar! Although she was eating better, she still hadnt found a healthy plan that she could follow for life, and so the search continued.
Then one day several years ago, she had her light-bulb moment: If she was having this much trouble figuring out the whole nutrition and weight loss game, then what were other women going through who werent as informed as she? This is when she decided there was a real need for a no-nonsense, simple nutrition and weight loss program that could be applied to any lifestyle. With this, she set out to create the ultimate eating plan for women! And the rest, as they say, is history.
