Nothing even gets close to any other autory regarding the history of USA. Period.
As an insider, and stauch American, and a brilliant mind, Gore transends all bias, evolving with a consie "real" history of the United States. I veleive this book should be required reading in every acedemic institution. History as "real". It's a "gift" for all those who know nothing about our Empire. In additon, he's a most gifted and patrioc american, who writing stye and gift for relating ideas, out strips all other autors regarding historical novels. I wish him long life. One of our last Lions in the literay owrld.
