Last Exile, Vol. 2, January 4, 2005
This review is from: Last Exile, Vol. 2 (Audio CD)
This CD of 20 songs, tells the whole story of Last Exile, in a format that doesn't ruin it for any person. It dramatically brings back moements from the show to allow you to experience the story in a very expressive mode of comunication. There are certain songs that do not fit, but are still apart of the show and needed to be included, just not nessicarilly on this CD. Overall, the CD is worth the time and money spent towards it!

Dolce Triade, May 22, 2007
This review is from: Last Exile, Vol. 2 (Audio CD)
After listening to this album, I'm a Dolce Triade fan! I must however admit that the first album eclipses the second, so if you're on a tight budget, stick with the first album.

If only there more more like this, July 22, 2006
This review is from: Last Exile, Vol. 2 (Audio CD)
Last Exile personally has broken a barrier in music that is insurpassable. It's amazing ability to be intimidation thought provoking and higly energetic is why this CD is so sought after by me.
Like Cowboy Bebop the music in this is always great and never a dull moment. Although the genres differ immensily they both are truly a great ride to hold on to.
Last Exile is especially unique because of the threatening and scary music. Not really scary as in horror but as in full on military advamce and war themes.
There is also a great tone that is used alot in the more relaxed pieces. This reminds me more of Gypsy Caravan and the fiddle and pipe themes. These complement the army music in such a grand way that it becomes an artfrom. Alomst a poetic device because it's singalling the hope for peace in this grand battle field of music.
As a reader you may not truly understand what I am saying to appeal to this album. My critique is unique because this album is and there is no better way to say it then the complicated way that reflects the album.
I waited over a year to get this album and am screaming because it took me so long.
If 5 were perfect this would get 97 stars.
