Wonderful, November 1, 2011
This review is from: Last First Kiss (La Fleur de Love) (Kindle Edition)
The first book had suspense and romance. This book has romance and is very heartfelt. The way she writes its like you are there with them and that you are feeling their pain with them. I couldn't believe that I was crying while reading this. Just like I said in the first review, she just pulls you in and you don't want to get out. Thats what I call a wonderful book. I can't wait for the next one. When is it coming? I really wish I could just preorder them all and have them once they come out cause I am sure that I will love them all.

An enormous talent, a great read for all fans of emotional, well-written books!, October 20, 2011
This review is from: Last First Kiss (La Fleur de Love) (Kindle Edition)
In the writing world, the true test is coming back stronger and harder with your second novel. In my mind, Ms. Leger has accomplished that feat. Her sophmore attempt at writing, LAST FIRST KISS, shows the true, fine, balance between patience, love, and welcoming change into your life.
Both Jackson and Giselle have lost someone in a massive wreck, but it's up to them to determine how their lives will be affected by this horrible blow. For Giselle, the truth is harsh, her husband, her true love, is gone, leaving her with a ready made family who's heart has been ripped open. For Jackson, he's finally free of the diabolical woman who's ruled his life for years. Unfailingly and ever a gentleman, he's stayed with her even though she put him through the ringer. Now that he's free of her, he's torn about which direction to take his life.
With the help of friends, family, and each other, both Jackson and Giselle overcome their grief and find out that love may be the next step on their road to recovery.
With reappearances from characters in her first book, SOME DAY SOMEBODY, and new characters that will hopefully appear in the future, Ms. Leger taps into some heavy emotional scenario's, and some pretty steamy sexual tension. Even though her sexual scenes are few, and not as steamy as some, the heat is enough to leave you reading more, and to leave you anxious for Jackson and Giselle to find their happy ending.
Please don't pass up the chance to read this fabulous book! Like the last sip of champagne, you will savor this one till the very end.

Last First Kiss, November 8, 2011
This review is from: Last First Kiss (La Fleur de Love) (Kindle Edition)
I am not an avid book reader...which makes me a picky reader. A book needs to capture my interest, and keep it. I need to be able to put myself in the characters place or WANT to be in their place. Last First Kiss had me hooked from the very beginning. Having been in a car accident myself, I totally related to the heartfelt emotion that follows such a tragic event. This emotion was so well capured in this book it amazed me. The struggles and heartbreak of living without the love of your life is something that no one can even imagine. Lori has chose a varity of intresting characters for her book. Her story, her writing, her characters, are all very well thought out.
Trust me when I tell you that if she continues to write stories as this one, I will surly be buying them.
