The chemical and biological terrorism we've all been fearing has finally happened on American soil, as a band of unidentified terrorists invades Texas. Dave Morris is a Colonel in the Confederate Air Force and is building an experimental aircraft. He's a ham operator and works with the Red Cross Disaster Action Team in Dallas. He has written many magazine articles, but Last Flight of the Liberators is his first novel.

A fantastic war games story with a great plot twist!,

Dave Morris' "Last Flight" starts in high gear and never lets up on the accelerator until the last paragraph closes. Don't let the fact that you've never heard of Morris stop you, this is one of the finest first novels I've ever seen. The story alone is worth the read -- excellent character development with a fast-paced plot: action-filled flight scenes, believable political dangers, massive explosions, massacres of innocents and daring escapes... this is like the best of Tom Clancy crossed with Indiana Jones. There's a plot twist that fooled me and made the book even more delightful a story. (And more real and frightening!) Even better are the details on WWII fighter planes, radar and air traffic control, international espionage, and citizen defense groups. Morris is a pilot, a war plane expert and a ham radio operator, so it's not just believable, it's authentic. Recommended for anyone who likes a good adventure and war story, and any pilot, WWII buff or war games fan. Thanks, Dave! Keep them coming!

Ominously predicts 9/11 type attack,

Although this book was published well before September 11, 2001, the attack described in the novel has many eery parallels to the one perpetrated on the World Trade Center towers and the others that have been threatening the USA since that time.Tom Clancy and other authors have written many novels that depict possible scenarios for terrorist attacks. Unfortunately, nobody at the CIA or FBI seems to read them, or they would have been better prepared. Read this one and then watch the news. You won't be quite as surprised any more.
