5.0 out of 5 stars Riveting
Jack Kinsella is truly one of the best writers that exists today. He is knowledgeable and hits the mark in an understandable way...always. This book is one that can only be put down when the eyes give out, then you can't wait to pick it up again. It's riveting, exciting, and a definite MUST READ for all. If you are a Christian, this book is one of the most exciting...

1.0 out of 5 stars Warning: something is fishy here

I came here to see if this guy wrote any books, now that I saw him interviewed by Hal Lindsey.

I see 31 reviews, all of them glowing 5 star reviews. Ok, one 4 star review thrown in. And not even ONE of them mentions the bizarre fact that a slim 240 page paperback is being offered at the price of $163.50 for a new copy. What impartial reviewer would not...

5.0 out of 5 stars How far away is soon?, July 13, 2007

This review is from: The Last Generation (Perfect Paperback)
I bought this book to share with a family member with an uncertain future. I decided to read it first to make sure it would have the proper impact.
I discovered that this is a book written by a very strong, professing Christian, and while Chrisitans will get a lot out of it, it was written for the lost.
There may be very little time left for the world as we know it. Jack points this out clearly and succinctly for those who are either vaguely aware, or totally unaware.
I recommend this book to any student of prophecy, but I particularly recommend it to the agnostic, the athiest and the lost, as well as those who are wavering.
Anyone who reads with understanding will come away changed, mostly for the better. Some with hard hearts will just laugh, but then they will face God and the laugh will change to tears.

5.0 out of 5 stars Straight to the point, June 13, 2007
This review is from: The Last Generation (Perfect Paperback)
Very refreshing to see a writer offering things that are undeniable to any with common sense to see the obvious.

This is a good book for realists who need facts rather than hype and sensationalism.

5.0 out of 5 stars At Last, July 13, 2007
By
This review is from: The Last Generation (Perfect Paperback)
I've been waiting on a Jack Kinsella book for years now. This author has more Bible understanding in his pinky finger than I have in my entire brain. I know of no individual who has a stronger ability to articulate truth in an intelligent, logical, and relevant manner. The Last Generation will excite your faith and remind you of the hope that is in us as believers in Jesus Christ and His soon return. Reading this book will give you a thorough understanding of the times we are living in and what the Bible has to say about this generation. Please don't pass this book by. It is a must read for anyone curious about God's plan for our generation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Summation, July 12, 2007
This review is from: The Last Generation (Perfect Paperback)
Great summation of current world events that are in fulfillment of the Biblical prophecies. I highly recommend it to all. But don't just read 'Last Generation.' Read the Bible, too! It is critical we be aware of what is happening, and be prepared to face what is yet coming.
One 'gap' in Jack's book is his pre-trib perspective. We will be raptured, but not necessarily before persecution. We must prepare to soon reject the 'mark' of antichrist, possibly at the cost of our lives, knowing that at the coming rapture 'the dead in Christ rise first.' The current fulfillment of prophecies prove that God is true to His Word! We have a wonderful eternal future ahead beyond this 'Last Generation.'

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply amazing, July 12, 2007
By
This review is from: The Last Generation (Perfect Paperback)
Jack Kinsella is not just a wonderful writer, but also a great student of history. He has a unique ability to see historical connections to present-day events, and I learned things I never knew almost on every page. More than that, I believe the central point of this book is of crucial importance for every soul on this planet. He makes it so clear that all of the frightening things happening in the world today are a fufillment of Bible prophecy. Like a guide out in the wilderness, pointing out this, and that, one astounding fact after another, this is a book that has to be read slowly, word for word, to catch it all. Simply amazing.

5.0 out of 5 stars well written book about the last days from a christian perspective, July 12, 2007
This review is from: The Last Generation (Perfect Paperback)
This book is written in a easy to read style and makes for an interesting read. This book explains how the last days will unfold from the perspective of a Christan pastor. This book written by Jack Kinsella will rival any book written by Hal Lindsey on the topic of the last days. Even though I don't agree with everything Jack wrote I must say that for his target audience (christian pre-trib evangelicals) this book will be hard to put down. I read it myself in three days and I'm a slow reader.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Painfull Truth Based on Scripture, July 12, 2007
By
Greg M (Woodland Hills, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Last Generation (Perfect Paperback)
Jack ties history and end times prophecy together in a way that is based on what the scriptures say and deals with some very hard truth. He provides evidence that demonstrates why we should be excited about the imminent return of the Lord and encourages us to reach out, in love, to those who don't know him. There are many different elements from economics, politics, and views of other religions and the hardening of the hearts of men to the point that they will go to war against Christ when he returns in his supernatural glory.

This is a must read! But keep your bible next to it and look up the scripture for yourself. Trust in the Word of God as Jack does and read the passages in your own bible. I'm sure the author would agree, don't just take his word for it, look it up and check the Word for yourself, as we are commanded in 1 John 4:1-3.

Jack Kinsella has done a marvelous job with the writing of this book. I was thoroughly enthralled by ever word that he wrote. He explained his ideas in a well-developed manner and ever detail was thoroughly researched. Ever believer should read this book because we are living in the final days and we are the final generation. We have an awesome responsibility to complete the great commission. I hope everyone who is not a believer will also be impacted by Jack's book. It is a must read for everyone, believer and non-believer.
