A famous museum director's body is discovered on the San Carlos Apache Reservation clutching an ancient Hohokam pot. As the southwest's foremost expert in antiquity theft, BLM Special Agent Martha Fallingwater is called to help the FBI investigate the case. She immediately enlists the aid of Bobby Espinoza, a Coyotero Apache tracker and member of Homeland Security's famous Shadow Wolves. Martha and Bobby's search lead them to a hidden canyon deep in the Apache reservation where they discover the looted remains of a previously unknown thousand-year-old Indian village and evidence of yet a second killing. Martha realizes she is tracking a professional grave robber who is willing to do anything, including murder, to keep the canyon and its buried treasure a secret.

This is one of the best mystery books I have read. Had me locked to it till the end. Comes extremely close to the writings of J A Jance and Tony Hillerman. If you like them, you'll love "The Last Grave"!!

Have just finished reading Jon Dorrough's The Last Grave...... and WOW! I picked up the book and couldn't put it down until I'd finished it because, right from the first paragraph, I was afraid the characters would go on with the plot without me and I might miss something!!! A fabulous read with just the right mixture of fact and fiction together with a wonderful descriptive balance which creates such a vivid moving picture in the reader's mind. I feel as though I've been there!
