Book Description

March 1993
Centuries ago they were bitter enemies, Incas vs. Spaniards. Now, in the present century, the vanquished and their conquerors are healing themselves with their knowledge and acceptance of their murderous plot against Atahualpa, The Last Inca.

This is a story of self-healing, the result of a pioneering effort of a group of individuals who participated in a workshop on reincarnation, sponsored by the Unarius Academy of Science. In their own words, they relate how they have regained their memory of this period in our history and have identified their past lifetime when they participated in the conquest of Peru, led by Francisco Pizarro.

This remarkable account demonstrates how any individual, without hypnosis, chants, or psychic readings, can personally retrace his past and heal the wounds left by previous transgressions against his fellowman. END

About the Author

Ruth Norman, Co-founder of the Unarius Academy of Science, is a teacher, poet, author, and above all a cosmic visionary. As a teacher of the whole person, she has helped, through her example, thousands of individuals who had been imprisoned by their emotional problems and situations. She has shown how anyone can learn the cancellation technique necessary to detune themselves from past-associated, negative involvements and develop the positive bias so necessary for good mental health and the integration of body, mind, and spirit.

Charles L. Spaegel, the present director of the Unarius Academy of Science, has devoted his life to helping individuals recognize their true infinite potential. He introduced and taught the first courses in past-life therapy and the psychology of consciousness at the San Diego Community College District in southern California. "Man is by nature creative," he explains. "Unable to express himself, he becomes frustrated and insecure. Freed from the autosuggestive influences incurred in previous lifetimes, he can develop a well-balanced outlook on life and expand his creative abilities.

This review is from: The Last Inca Atahualpa: An Eyewitness Account of the Conquest of Peru in 1535 (Hardcover)
I say it is a scam because the title represents the book as a biography of Atahualpa in the context of the conquest. It actually is a "past life" excursion by a group from the "Unarius Academy of Science" wherein they recount their various experiences when in past lives they participated in the overthrow of Atahualpa. People are free to believe what they believe, but it would be better if the presentation of this book had included a statement as to what it actually was. On the other hand, it was my fault for not investigating the book before I bought. Caveat Emptor and all that!
