5.0 out of 5 stars "Last To Know"/"God Is A DJ", September 21, 2005
This review is from: Last to Know (Audio CD)
Excellent choice for that "Pay Back" feeling deep inside. Pink shines her vocal range all over this song showing that she once again she can dish it out better than all the rest. The video adds to the drive to get her point across. Point taken! "God Is A DJ" mixes on this CD are entertaining and enchanting and is Worth The Money!

4.0 out of 5 stars Don't Be The Last To Know That Pink Is Great!!!, June 26, 2004

What can anyone say about Pink??
She is really a phenomenon.

Let me start by saying that I'm not the biggest fan of Pink, and I can be more objective than most of the people here that probably are huge Pink fans.
When I heard that Pink had a new album, "Try This", I was happily surprised considering that two of last years personal favorite songs were "Feel Good Time" and "Just Like A Pill", but I wasn't swept off my feet, and I didn't go buy it the day it came out.
In fact I must say that the first single, although it was what one would expect from Pink, was nothing really special.
However this single,"Last To Know", is a totally different story.
In this, Pink,is obviously, narrating a personal story, but also a story that ,with a few minor changes, apllies to all of us.And that's the story of dating. She talks about dating, and tries to find the reason, why the other one hasn't called,or shown a sign that he (or she for some of us!) cares. So it's an everyday thing,a thing that we all care about.
Musically, "Last To Know", is not very far from the usual Pink style, and moves somewhere between "Just Like A Pill" and "Don't Let Me Get Me". It's an uptempo, power-pop track that makes you wanna move. Especially when she says "So I guess,we shouldn't be friends any more", and during the chorus, the song reaches new heights of modern pop-rock, and sets the example for new artists, as to what "hit" means.
Go buy it, especially if you liked the two songs I mentioned before, or if you just want to get to know Pink,
as this song, in my point of view, is her best to date.

P.S:I'm giving it a 4 star just because it sounds a lot like the songs I mentioned before, nothing more.
