A second opinion,

As of this writing, this EP had just one review here on Amazon, of a single star. I couldn't let this go uncorrected. This is the first Rentals recording in several years, and no, it might not sound like the band's most memorable songs, but it is a decent disc. "Life Without a Brain" is a highlight for me, and almost worth the $5 I paid for it. See the band live if you have the chance, you won't be sorry.

It's alright...,

It's a good start after being gone for so long. If you liked 7 more minutes, you should like this. If the only song by the Rentals you know is "Friends of P", you might want to go get some 90's alternative hits cd. They put on a great show when I saw them in Detroit.

If you love the rentals, you know that there isn't much rentals, but what there is is fantastic, so you'll love this disc. They cover a song from the first rentals album, and add in 3 new songs. Really strong disc, every song is 4 or 5 stars. My only complaint is that this wasn't a full album. My favorite song on the disc is a toss up between life without a brain and little bit of you.
