After reading Mr Hamner's first book, I wasn't sure he could come up with anything to top it....but he has! The 'Last Musketeer' really does top 'Night Eyes'. The character of Jack Stone gets better and is more polished in this book. His books show us the work of police officers that the public seldom sees. This is a fast paced story that holds ones interest. I'm looking forward to more books from this author.
