5.0 out of 5 stars Class of 58', August 4, 2009
This review is from: Last in My Class: How Humor Helped Me Survive Alcoholism (Hardcover)
The author recaps his whole life in a very easy to understand, homespun manner. Anyone who has been close to people who suffer from active alcoholism will quickly recognize deep, heartfelt wounds that never quite heal from growing up in this environment. I would recommend this book to anyone who would like to get a close look at a real survivor of life with an alcoholic parent. Although I didn't have an alcoholic parent I did grow up at the same time as the author and attended both Matignon High School (Class of 1958) and Northeastern University.
