Some interesting theology in this engaging work: why Jesus was not a Jew (p28); why the best Lenten sacrifice would be to forego Mass (p24). And I now have a better understanding of the phrase 'to eat crow'. The nicest window on mitteleuropa since How I Came to Know Fish. 100% Canadian, Dobozy 'chanels' his ancestral land's troubled past with astonishing conviction
