These girls are sooooo cute, I saw them live. Last One Standing is fun, catchy, and oozes Girl Power. The video is seriously one of the best clips I've ever seen, better than anything Radiohead can come up with.

It is such a shame Girl Thing didn't do better then they did. They got dropped from their record company in 2001, after getting a song stolen from them by Popstars band Hear'Say (who now funnily enough have split up too). They were 5 talented girls who had the potential to go far. This single shows their single. It's jam packed.

On this single, you get the radio edit of "Last One Standing" which is catchier then anything, you'll definitely want to play it again and again. Next is "Extraordinary Love", a great non-album track. It's even catchier and upbeat then "Last One Standing". It has a great chorus and cool vocals. Next is another non-album track "Summer Daze", another party song. The chorus, again is singable and catchy. Lastly, is the interview. It's dead funny with the girls telling you about themselves, and talking about "Last One Standing" and the house they lived in. I don't get what they say at the beginning about a shoe? "This is our new ??shoe?? Last one standing!"
You also get a cool bonus, the video. The video is one of the best ever made in my opinion, it is so funny and cool. The girls gatecrash someone's wedding and go mad, trashing everything. The outtakes are cool too.

Girl Thing shouldn't have been dropped. Jodi, Anika, Linzi, Michelle and Nikki have talent and it shown by the songs on this single. Buy this, and you will see what the world has missed out on.

Girl Thing are a superb band. They split up, but their music lives on.... they were my favourite girl band, and they were really popular in Japan! Their album didn't do well in the UK, but I thought it was excellent.
This single is great. Rundown:

1. Last One Standing
Such a great choice for a debut single. So catchy and dancy. It'll keep you singing and dancing for hours. I got addicted to this song the first time I heard it. Brilliant. 5/5

2. Extraordinary Love
I love this song! It's soooooo catchy, and happy! It's an upbeat, cute little ditty which will keep you hooked. I've listened to it about 20 million times, and I'm still not bored of it. Fantastic! 555555/5

3. Enhanced CD including Video
I love the video to this song. It shows Girl Thing having fun, and crashing someone's wedding. It sounds mean, but really it's just happy and crazy. It also includes 4 behind the scenes clips on how they made the video. 5/5

Overall, this single is a definite five star. Buy this now, it will be a collector's items in years to come. This is Part 1 of a two part set of CD's. Brilliant stuff.

This single is a great buy, mostly because of the video, which is very exciting, one of the greatest in pop music. I am actually surprised that this song did not do better in the charts, because it is good pop with good energy and great chorus (the vocals are actually impressive when it comes to harmonies...)

The two B-sides are not as good as the title track, very popish, but they are okay. The interview is also cool, but it would be good to know which of the girls are speaking, since we do not know who is who.

It is sad that Girl Thing stopped after so little success, but with over 30 girl bands released that same year, they did not stand much of a chance... Still, this single is a great buy, and you will enjoy the most of it over, and over again!

Last One Standing was a great choice for first single when it came out. Extraordinary Love is a really catchy song about you gonna make sweet love to the moon light. Summer Daze is also a great song about the summer hanging with your friends and other summer related activities. The interview is about 2:35 long. The video seems to be slower than the music, I don't know if it is the cd or my computer but it is still nice to cheek out Jodi's moves.

Well for their first single from all female group "Girl Thing" from the UK, they have done an amazing job! I throughly enjoyed listening to the rap and pop styles of the five girls! Top listening to anyone who is into Manufactured Pop groups, but please remember that Girl Thing have set an all new trend in the way we look at manufactured pop groups nowadays. Not the typical all female girl group listening, but totally worth it!!!

I first listened to this song on mtv...i thought it was a cool song.....the lyrics and the melody are quite catchy...but obviously it has no meaning...just a fun song for when you are bored..... it gets a little tiring after a while...... and don't you think 'girl thing' is a little weird for a girl band.....YES i mean GIRL BAND overall this song was pretty good and it lasted a while on my cd player.
