Editorial Reviews

Sevendust's Clint Lowery (guitar) and Morgan Rose (drums) unveil their side project: Call Me No One. The debut, Last Parade, arrives via Sevendust's label 7Bros in conjunction with Warner Music's Independent Label Group.

It's not the same "heavy" as Sevendust. Expect to hear more crushing drums, blistering guitars and solos.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best album of the year so far... June 5, 2012
Format:MP3 Music|Verified Purchase
Its Clint Lowery and Morgan Rose slamming it down as they always do with their own style this time. I sure hope I can catch these guys live in concert this year before the Sevendust album starts recording. If you like Sevendust or Nonpoint or Dark New Day or any heavy Rock that you can understand words to, just buy this album now!!!

Thanks

5.0 out of 5 stars Great songwriting from a seasoned veteran June 8, 2012
Format:Audio CD
This is a deep record with some really impressive tracks. For Clint Lowery and Morgan Rose, it is a nice step away from Sevendust. Truthfully, the songs really don't sound much like what you may expect from the Sevendust veterans. There are a few hard rockers, "The World is Dead," "Biggest Fan,", and "War Song", but overall the album has a different approach.

I've seen people comparing the sound of this record to Foo Fighters. Lowery's voice does sound like Dave Grohl's at times. But unlike Foo Fighters, most of the songs on this record have a somber, heartfelt tone, much like Clint's solo acoustic work. He isn't afraid to pour emotions into these tunes. Songs like "Hillbilly" and "Biggest Fan" lighten up the mood a bit, but "All's Well", "Broken Record", and "Last Parade" are slower moving songs with more intense lyrics.

Overall, this is a very solid record. Musicianship is top notch. Rose is perfect on the drums, and there are some interesting guitar pieces to check out. Lowery's voice sounds great.

FYI - Two bonus tracks come on the deluxe version.

Tracks to check out:
"Biggest Fan"
"The World is Dead"
"Thunderbird"
"All's Well"

5.0 out of 5 stars SOLID June 5, 2012
Format:Audio CD
This is a great album, by some awesome musicians! This is not 7Dust album, y'all. I don't like comparing bands, but this kind of leans towards the Foo Fighters, if Clint and Morgan were in the band (which would make it a better band). Buy this if you like you like hard rockin' music. You won't be disappointed.

I'm a pretty big Sevendust fan and I like other works that Clint has done, but this is just OK and I don't find myself wanting to go back and listen to it again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Hard Rock Album February 24, 2013
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I've put off buying this album for far too long. Nearly 12 months after the original release date I decided to give this album a chance. Being a fan of 7dust for quite awhile as well as Clint Lowery's other side projects, (Dark New Day and Hello Demons Meet Skeletons), I wanted to hear what else Clint could come up with. This is the first time Clint has taken lead vocals with a full on band. Clint's vocals soar throughout the entire record. He has a way of hitting notes you don't hear on every Hard Rock record today. I wouldn't have chosen a better drummer than Morgan Rose for CMNO. Morgan knows how to fill in the gaps with his gifted ability. This is a band who isn't given the respect they absolutely deserve.
