C-D Really intense. Considering what we had to read in school, this blows them all way. Intense! --

This book, offering broad appeal to readers in a way that it loses the prohibitive label of being strictly for young adults, was a lost work. The author completed his first novel the summer he finished high school and two other books quickly followed, including The Last Pony.
