This is a well written story of items we never heard of before. Written like Ford was there.

5.0 out of 5 stars the story of a forgotten thousand-plane raid, July 3, 2010

This review is from: The Last Raid: How World War II ended, August 1945 (Kindle Edition)
Thank you for your interest in this monograph, which I had longed to write for many years before the 50th anniversary of the war's end gave me an excuse to pitch it to my editor at Air & Space magazine. George Larson was a wonderful man to work for (and he paid well!) I hugely enjoyed working for him. For this revision, I have added some images of the Last Raid on the Empire of Japan.

Here are some of my longer works on military themes, also available in Kindle editions:

Incident at Muc Wa (Go Tell the Spartans) A Story of the Vietnam War

The Only War We've Got: Early Days in South Vietnam

Michael's War: A Story of the Irish Republican Army

The Lady and the Tigers: Remembering the Flying Tigers of World War II

Glen Edwards: The Diary of a Bomber Pilot

A Vision So Noble: John Boyd, the OODA Loop, and America's War on Terror

Blue skies! -- Dan Ford
