Hello,

Maestro Arthur Rubinstein has to be the best pianist ever in terms of longevity. It is remarkable how well he performs Beethoven's Appasionata, Chopin's Scherzo #3, and the Great Polonaise in A-Flat at 88 years old. Being an amateur concert-pianist and having studied all these pieces by myself, I cannot thank Rubinstein enough for his courage, dedication, and being an absolute role-model to inspire me to spend the hours of work necessary to be a concert pianist. Rubinstein is the best!

Also, I love how maestro Rubinstein interprets Chopin's Waltz in C-Sharp. He plays it very nostalgic in a tranquil tempo (for the main theme), and he is the only one to play it in this way. I love to hear his interpretation because it relaxes my soul and puts me off to another place--a better place where the only thing that truly exists is music.

Thank you maestro Arthur Rubinstein. My only regret was that I was only three years old when this recital occurred; otherwise, I would have been in the front ranks giving the master a lot of colorful flowers after every composition.

Best,
Charles D.
