3.0 out of 5 stars Okay, but confusing..., March 22, 2000
By
This review is from: The Last Tower: The Legacy of Raistlin (Dragonlance, 5th Age) (Paperback)
While I found the Test and Dungeon descriptions very helpful, and easy to understand, I took issue with some of the trinket/treasure/artifact powers and requirements. It seems that the powers of the Staff of Magius, for example, have been dramatically reduced, either by intention or by a mistake, and its list of known powers is too large as compared to the AD&D description I've found. Also, optional rules about sorcerers or mystic-sorcerers who wish to add their own enchantments to the Staff would have been nice. Still, a minor gripe for an otherwise very useful supplement.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best Fifth Age supplement to date., October 21, 1999
This review is from: The Last Tower: The Legacy of Raistlin (Dragonlance, 5th Age) (Paperback)
This is the best supplement for the Fifth Age game to date. A lot of magical items that were described in the D&D game have been converted to SAGA format for those players who use cards instead of dice. It also gives a neat little adventure that could be made into a long standing campaign.
