Kendra Blaine, a freelance writer, never thought she would be moving back to Vermont, where she was born. Her parents had both been killed in an accident when she was a child, and she had been raised in Florida by her paternal aunt. Now, however, since her grandfather willed her her great-grandparents’ house, she decided to move there if for nothing other than to enjoy the quiet small-town life brings. The home was old, rundown, and a place she never knew was even in the family. While cleaning it up, she finds her great-grandmother’s journal and learns, by reading it, a lot about her family’s life in West Pawlet, Vermont, and what love truly means. Mary Greene is Kendra’s great-grandmother. She was present at Kendra’s birth and was close with her granddaughter until she moved away. In her journal, she takes the reader on a last trip through West Pawlet, Vermont, her family life, and past while she herself is dying of cancer—showing her family what true love for each other really is.

Penny Clark Babson is a hot up and comming writter and you must purchase this must read book. I caint wait to read her next novel as this one was just that good!

I loved this book. This is the second book I have bought by this author. The books may seem small but the action is packed from cover to cover. I hear that she is now writing a full length sci-fi/ horror novel and I can not wait for it to come out.
I think this book even though it is only 47 pages along with her first book will revolutionalize coffee table books to a new era and better light. Wonderful book. heart felt, up lifting and simply great! Ten thousand stars for this writer!

This Author Is so wonderful. This story is a loving book about family and connections in life. The second book I have read of hers and I am waiting for the thrid.... A must read.
