4.0 out of 5 stars Great Archery, April 3, 2008
This review is from: The Last Wilderness / Hunting the Hard Way (Double Feature) (DVD)
The Video is really old footage of amazing shots. This is the oldest footage of Howard hill I have seen and it is very interesting to see and hear the old views on wildlife animals.

An informative and entertaining picture of the way things were, not too long ago. One of the greats in archery showcased here. You won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolute Classic Howard Hill, June 13, 2011

This review is from: The Last Wilderness / Hunting the Hard Way (Double Feature) (DVD)
Howard Hill was probably the best archer in modern times. His skill with the bow was far beyond the ordinary. For instance: in The Adventures of Robin Hood with Errol Flynn check out the split arrow in the archery contest. It was Howard Hill that made both shots.
In keeping with his vocation the 2 movies on this DVD show Howard Hill doing what he did best. Hunting, of course, but especially making very interesting archery shots. These are old movies and the quality of the production is somewhere between home movies and a travelog, but if you like the outdoors, archery, and just real fun movies, you can't beat these. And if you like these, make sure you get Tembo, too. That might even be a bit better.
