Eclectic score offers much to like, November 22, 2007

The score for Larry Fessenden's unique thriller"The Last Winter" has two different composers with two different styles...Anton Sanko's contributions include menace and stress cues performed on a home-made instrument called a "Chimera",while Jeff Grace contributed a more conventional,very lyrical score that borders on the romantic...Tom Laverack's contribution,the song"Running out of road"is really quite charming ,in it's dark,almost gothic way...All in all a very interesting soundtrack,one that does not disappoint...Only one thousand units of this soundtrack have been pressed,so hurry and get one before they are all gone....
