Product Description

Tri Flips are " bottle tops" for Tri Grip reflectors are sold as a set of two reversible covers that include; Silver, Gold, White, Black, Sunfire and the Designed for Digital colors of Sunlite and SoftSilver. When fitted over a Tri Grip, Tri Flips will not accidentally fall off or slip out of place. To put them on a Tri Grip, begin folding the Tri Grip until the sides begin to bend in, then stop folding it. Slip the handle of the Tri Grip through the opening at the wide side of the Tri Flip and feed it through the narrow edged bottom of the Tri Flip. Let the Tri Grip open up and the Tri Flip will be taut. The Velcro strips centered at the wide side of the Tri Flip reflector keeps the Tri Flips securely in place. Tri Flips do not have to be removed when folding a Tri Grip. Tri Flips fit regular size (original 33"version) Tri Grips.

The product is very good. It unfolds to a real tight plane without dents or cracks, and does not unfold violently fast like the cheaper versions do. It is also a lot easier to fold back together than the cheap circular ones, and once in its bag it doesn't try to unfold itself. The handle with hand straps on both sides is nice, but I don't think it's really necessary until you have the clamps+stands to go with it, as I never had a problem holding on to the cheaper reflectors with my hands.

A very good product, but worth the quadruple price of cheap circular reflectors? My opinion: Only if you might be buying some of the many accessories for this specific reflector later on.

Nice product - light weight and easy to handle - folds up to small easy to carry pouch. I liked the fact that gold, silver and white are all in one product. Amazon shipped quickly before we needed for a photo shoot. I recommend this product.

I have so much equipment, I start thinking in terms of "if my stuff was stolen, would I re-purchase this item", and my answer is definitely yes. This is a must have item, whether you are shooting with or without an assistant. This is so much easier to hold and direct than a circle reflector. Plus, its flexible enough to mount on a lightstand and it will bend over when the wind blows instead of tipping over. No more broken umbrellas. The flash bracket attachment for this is a must have too.
