Author Warns of Impending North American Union,
By
This review is from: The Late Great U.S.A.: The Coming Merger With Mexico and Canada (Hardcover)
In this meticulously researched and footnoted book, Jerome R. Corsi, Ph. D. (Harvard) warns of the slippery slope from free trade to regulatory integration to a North American Union that would obliterate America's soverignty.
Is foreign investment in a Mexico to Canada NAFTA superhighway a danger that outweighs the value of the foreign capital spent here to build it? Does outsourcing of America's manufacturing jobs outweigh the advantage conferred to everyone by lower prices? Does the North American Trusted Traveler Program presage a North American passport that results in free movement of millions more Mexicans to America? Corsi's answer to all the above queries is a resounding "Yes!" And he makes his case rather convincingly. Whether or not readers agree with Corsi's premises and conclusions, he raises questions that thoughtful readers should pose and issues they should analyze. This book will especially appeal to those with an inherant mistrust of multinational corporations and free trade agreements.

I thought this was tin-foil hat stuff too...,

but after the Senate immigration debacle, someone suggested that I read this book to find out exactly what was behind that travesty of justice. A North American Union is the only context in which effective amnesty for 20 million plus illegal aliens makes any sense.
Senor Bush and his business cronies must be stopped - and I say this as a lifelong Republican. This book shows why and is an absolute must-read.

a real eye-opener,

This review is from: The Late Great USA: NAFTA, the North American Union, and the Threat of a Coming Merger with Mexico and Canada (Paperback)
Seemed far-fetched when I read it last year, but now all of the pieces are slowly beginning to fit. A real eye-opener that has motivated me to investigate the truth. Scary stuff. This is information the mainstream media will never reveal.
Abraham Lincoln quoted "America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it is because we destroyed ourselves." In my opinion, this book supports that theory.

The USA is dying,

This review is from: The Late Great U.S.A.: The Coming Merger With Mexico and Canada (Hardcover)
A sobering look at what free trade has done and where America is going. The middle class is evaporating, the class that made America "America". It would be truly sad if America turns into what Mexico is today, one of the most corrupt governments with no middle class and an elite that are some of the richest in the world that run everything. There is some hope that this plan may never be fully implemented but time is running out, this government by stealth makes me sick.

This review is from: The Late Great U.S.A.: The Coming Merger With Mexico and Canada (Hardcover)
Jerome Corsi hit the nail on the head. In this book Dr. Corsi Reveals the intent of the Bush and Clinton administration, along with the elite, and the multinational corporations intent to bypass the United States Constiution and establish a unified North America. All at the expense of United States soveirgnty, and the taxpayer. All of Dr. Corsi's information is carefully cited and readily available via the freedom of information act. I cross referenced it, including my own research, (which included a bill in the house of representatives (H.CON. RES.40)). The Late Great USA will answer many questions we face today including: outsourcing manufacturing, NAFTA, and Illegal immegration. If you believe in the Decleration of Independence, the United States of America's constitution, and the Bill of Rights, I highly recomend that you read this book. Then call your congress!

Far From Complete -- Needs An Update,

This review is from: The Late Great U.S.A.: The Coming Merger With Mexico and Canada (Hardcover)
This book is a must read for every American even though I gave it only three stars. The content is excellent, if a little overblown in some areas, well-documented, but unfortunately misses the 500 pound gorilla in the living room. As far as it goes, the book is a good read, but there is much, much more that needs to be added.
The primary problem is not with the author's contention that the US, Canada and Mexico are well down the road towards an economic union like that of the EU -- that part is now beyond scholarly dispute even though our Representatives and Senators prefer to deny what is happening. They have their own agenda -- to become re-elected -- and they know that national sovereignty is an issue the American people feel strongly about. Note the furor over illegal immigration and the popular support for better policing of our borders. Nonetheless, there is no question that the vast majority of our politicians from both parties are selling us out -- Corsi's book demonstrates that. So what is missing? How about the Bilderberg plan in 1996 to push Canada into seeking an economic union with the US? That failed when a few courageous reporters broke the story in Canada of the secret meeting of the Bilderbergs and how the plan was to work. Public outrage killed the scheme for the next few years. How about the fact that the Bilderberg Group is not mentioned at all, the Trilateral Commission (TC) only in passing where a North American Union was proposed, and even the machinations of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is treated lightly? The Bilderberg Group is the capstone organization dedicated to bringing about a new One World Order, and the next great step in their formation of a supra-national state is the creation of a North American Union. The Trilateral Commission is dedicated to seeing the eventual economic (& later political) union of Europe, North America and Japan, but Corsi elected not to include such material. To this end the Bilderbergs, TC and CFR have attempted to manipulate and control the US Federal Government with varying success. Since World War II the CFR has pretty much possessed a stranglehold on top bureaucratic positions in the Federal Government, and the TC even ran their own Manchurian Candidate successfully for President. That was Jimmy Carter, selected by Zbigniew Brzezinski in 1973, ordained by David Rockefeller, and catapulted into the presidency from nowhere in seven months with Bilderberg backing. Hopefully, everyone remembers the misery index of the Carter Presidency. Now we are experiencing the same thing, but this time nothing has been left to chance. Zbig recruited Barack Obama while at Columbia, and the Bilderberg handlers have guided his career, arranged for both his elections to the Illinois State Senate and US Senate almost without opposition, and now they are ready to complete their control of the Federal Government with him as their front man. Once again, we have an unknown candidate coming from nowhere. It does not matter what Obama says or promises -- only what his Bilderberg handlers want to happen. When the gasoline price rise affected Obama's campaign adversely, the Bilderbergs brought it down in the steepest fall in history. To force the economic situation into the primary campaign issue, the monetary crisis was timed to take place when it could be most effective. Bilderberg member Chris Dodd moved it along, and Bilderberg member Henry Paulson scared the pants off everyone and forced through a 700 billion dollar series of payments of taxpayer money to Bilderberg-controlled financial institutions. Poor McCain never knew what hit him. Bilderberg member George Soros made sure Obama's campaign was well financed, TC and CFR members brought his organization to a high state of efficiency, and the public was wowed through almost hypnotic oratory. What a deal. That's why Corsi needs to update this book, particularly after Obama wins the election. Only the House of Representatives can be a brake on the US's march into the One World Order, most immediately through halting the creation of a North American Union and other Bilderberg initiatives such as gun control and the formation of Bilderberg-controlled PPPs (private-public partnerships). House members are up for re-election every two years, and it will be only by serious public outrage directed at them does the US have a chance to retain its sovereignty. At any rate, that will be our last chance short of civil war. The reader is advised to read every reference he can get his hands on that cover the Bilderbergs, Trilateral Commission and Council on Foreign Relations. Read and weep. Even the most even-handed are scary and could be considered alarmist. But is the person who pulls the fire alarm an alarmist? Corsi has done us a worthwhile service, but half of the problem is missing.

We Cannot Afford to Delude Ourselves Any Longer,
By
This review is from: The Late Great U.S.A.: The Coming Merger With Mexico and Canada (Hardcover)
This paradigm shifting book is both terrifying and patriotic, a wake up call to all those who still believe in the beauty and morality of sovereign nations, and the republican form of government.
Dr. Corsi has outed the ugly secret of Globalism with a reference list as long as our unsecured border. It is time we Americans understand what the Europeans have been discussing for years... the nation state does not die with a bang, but an incremental whimper until in the end no one remembers what the nation state even was. A must read for possibly the last generation that still remembers. |
