About the Artist

An acclaimed composer and singer, Serah crosses musical borders to create a genre unique in itself. Her broad experience and gift for musical alchemy produces a sound which is calming, eclectic, refreshing, and unique all in one. Her clear, soft vocals are a perfect complement to her thought-provoking lyrics that enthrall and charm all of her listeners. Working with Grammy Award-winning producer Neil Dorfsman (Sting, Dire Straits, Bruce Hornsby), Serah breaks through the boundaries of Pop and World music, defying single-format classifications. Serah’s musical talents came out at a very early age. She was singing before she talked, learned guitar from an old cowboy at age ten, and performed at parties and social events as a young teenager. Raised in the Midwest, she moved to the East Coast at 15 years old and quickly developed as a musician. Her first professional appearance was at the acclaimed Main Point in Philadelphia, which lead to national touring as a solo artist and collaboration with several other musicians.

Serah has the uncanny ability to bring together incredible musicians from all over the globe and make an album that sounds as though they've all been working together for years. Her voice is very pure and direct, and over the rich layers of music supplied by the musicians, it is pure magic.

The message of her music is very clear, and even when she deviates from her own original songs to cover oldies like "Sailing" and "Stand By Me", her interpretations never stray.

If you're looking to be inspired by beautiful melodies and images, or if you just want something soothing in the middle of all the chaos, I highly reccomend Late Harvest.
