They actually taste better than Ritz Bits, which I still like, but now I prefer these. The price here is similar to what I pay at a local grocery store, but sometimes they are limited in quantity at the store. Compared to some of the natural markets (Wild Oats, Whole Foods, etc) the pricing here is about half the cost.
Well worth the purchase if you like a good cheese & cracker snack in a "metered" portion.
Any time something doesn't taste right you should ask for your money back. Manufacturing accidents happen. How can they fix it if they don't know it's broke?
The only reason I'm aware of this is because I'm allergic to corn. And twice lately I've had allergic reactions to foods I eat all the time. Someone at the factory put something in there that did not belong. It happens to the best of products. Believe me, I know. So don't just assume that you don't like the product when everyone else thinks it's great. Return it. Make your voice known.
These are pretty salty (and high in sodium with over 300 mg in a 1.125 ounce package), but that just makes them more delicious to me. Still, if you are monitoring salt intake, you may want to avoid them. The crackers have a similar texture to regular Ritz, to me, and the cheese flavor is a nice complement. There were very few broken crackers in my bag, too.
If you have dietary restrictions, these are non-GMO, organic, free of artificial flavors, colors, and preservatives, and kosher (dairy). They're vegetarian but obviously not vegan. They contain wheat and dairy and are made in a plant that processes soy, eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts, so be conscious of that if you have any of those allergies.
Nutritionally, these are not necessarily the best for you -- they're very low in fiber and protein and rather high in starches. The package I have lists different nutritional information than the product images, although it is reasonably close.
1. The crackers are better; they taste more buttery and flavorful.
2. The cheese is better; it actually tastes like something that's met cheese in passing, and maybe even shaken its hand.
3. They're all organic 'n' stuff, so make you feel ever so slightly virtuous, and less like a slave to Big Food.
If you're packing lunches for kids (or snacks for yourself), these are great.

My toddler really loved these, but I tried one and couldn't believe how salty it was! I decided not to purchase again because of that.Published 11 months ago by Lee Lee Thompson
Handy for kids lunches and after school bus snacks. The larger boxes are not much cheaper by the time you package a portion in a Baggie. Read morePublished 13 months ago by A. Violas
A bit expensive, but worth it to know my kids aren't eating junk. There's not a lot of cheese between the crackers but it has a really excellent taste, and there's a good amount of... Read morePublished 14 months ago by mrem
