The line-up looks impressive enough, but it's really a pretty random assortment. Also, a number of them are undistinguished live versions, and the mastering is tinny and shrill. The capper is a liner-note essay that rambles on in a half-informed way about the history of jazz, but has nothing to do with the CD in hand.
Save your hard-earned cash for something else...
