The artwork and theme of the game are absolutely top notch. Game play is fun, especially with interactive 'chance' & 'community chest' cards. Huge disappointments with the peripheral items of the game though; game tokens, money, 'houses' and 'hotels' are all throw-away items. The 'femur' token is the only redemptive piece. The money issued with the game is different than what is pictured on Amazon; cheap and generic. The houses and hotels are 'boxes of flesh' and 'screaming humans'. Absolutely awful. Terrible game pieces that made everyone who wanted to play get a bitter-beer-face. This game had so much potential but fizzled in the end, but only because of the external pieces. If cooler tokens, money and house/hotel pieces can be found, this game would be amazing, but as is it is lacking and feels incomplete.

I just purchased this game to put out at our Halloween party this year. "Zombie-Opoly" is a visually colorful game with a currently popular motif. As you'd expect, it plays just like "Monopoly", but everything has different names.

The "Chance" and "Community Chest" cards are now called "Crawl" and "Stagger". You may get a card that says, "You are crowned Miss Rage Zombie! Collect $100", or, "You ate too much hamstring! Lose one turn", both accompanied by suitably zombie illustrations.

The properties around the board are more like personalities, with names like "Goodbye Kitty", "Zombarista" and "Chef Boyzombie". In a nice touch, the backs of the property cards have zombie trivia or jokes. For example, one starts, "Researchers in tropical rainforests have identified a new species of brain-controlling fungal parasites. These fungi infect carpenter ants and turn them into zombies...."

Money is called Blood Money, so the Bank is, of course, the Blood Bank. In place of Houses and Hotels, you have gray squares = boxes of flesh, and screaming heads = screaming humans. You buy these and place them on your personality/properties just as in regular Monopoly, with one Screaming Head = 4 Boxes of Flesh. This is how you become a property magnate in Zombieland. I am personally fond of the screaming heads - a great touch!

According to the box, play is for 2-6 players, age 8 and up. The six player pieces are made of metal, which is nice. They are a shovel, ear, bone and hammer, which can fit the zombie motif. The 5th is a boot, which is a stretch. And the 6th is a child in pajamas and holding a teddy bear. Its zombie significance escapes me.

In short, this is a fun variation of Monopoly. If we only bring it out at Halloween, we shouldn't get tired of it.

It was OK but regular Monopoly was easier to understand. It made my Grandkids very happy though as they are into the Zombie deal right now.

Bought this for our adult son. We're all fans of the TV show Walking Dead. The game plays very much like Monopoly. The zombie theme is very clever throughout the game as far as properties, & the cards. I didn't give it 5 stars because the 'boxes of flesh', used as houses, could have been something more interesting. Also, the money should have been zombified.
But on the whole, we had a good time playing.

I am so looking forward to playing this with my kids after Christmas. This looks to be an interesting spin on Monopoly

Monopoly is a fun game in itself and when you add Zombies it makes it 10 times more fun! I bought this for my 10 year old and the adults were the first to play the game and we had a blast!!! So worth the money!

My only negative review would be that the game was shipped with no packaging. They just slapped the sticker on the outside of the clear plastic wrap and shipped it. I personally would have liked to have seen it in a box so that nobody knew what was shipping but other than that it was well worth the money.
