Yes, you'll probably want to wait until the kids are sleeping to watch this... but then again if they're in the same house - you'll be waking them right back up from all the laughing you do! Every single comedian had us in tears - they were all HILARIOUS! Don't even think of renting this one... just BUY IT!

the only reason why this is better than Average to me is because of EarthQuake. he stole the show.Sommore was entertaining. Bruce,Bruce had moments as well. everything else was so-so to corny.but EarthQuake had me rolling from start to finish.

One of our friends had this so we saw it before and it is very funny! Bruce Bruce is hilarious, Earthquake and J Anthony were hilarious also. DL was funny too. Ricky Smiley wasn't that great but everyone else was hilarious. Me and husband like it so much we bought one. Anyone who is a fan of the early to mid 90's old school ComicView may enjoy it.

This DVD has all the hottest African American comics around. I laughed throughout the whole show and then laughed some more after it was over. If you are into comedy, this is one DVD you can't be without.

This dvd is hilarious!!! J. Anthony Brown is sorely underrated and Sommore is highly overrated. Bruce Bruce's comedy gets laughs as big as his stature. Rickey Smiley's down home humor will have you cracking up. Earthquake never disappoints, and DL as the host is the icing. I must admit that I didn't find Sommore to be that funny on this dvd. J. Anthony Brown does not get the props that he deserves. That man is sick! :-) This is a great addition to any dvd collection. I highly recommend this one.

I just expected so much more from the people who are in this stand-up. Just disappointed. I thought some parts were funny. But not worth the money for a couple laughs and that much time wasted.

I really enjoyed this comedy video... I try really hard not to laugh when I see comedy... my point is comedians really have to bring it in order for me to enjoy their routine. I laughed my tail off as I viewed this video. I really enjoyed Earthquake and J Anthony Brown... especially his bit about the priests (forgive me all)... I even liked DL and historically in my opinion he isn't funny at all. Ricky Smiley didn't do much for me but 1 out of 5 or 6 isn't bad at all. They should have let Damon Williams (the comedian from Chicago who sat on the stool) perform... he is funnier that well you know... anyway buy it keep it... it's great for company to view... all my friends and family love it... HOLLA

I failed to notice that I was purchasing a VHS and not a DVD. I returned it and my money was refunded with no problems.

I really wanted to check this out because I love The Original Kings of Comedy,and I had heard routines from Earthquake and J.Anthony Brown that I liked.It was good,but The Kings Of Comedy is better.I was greatly dissapointed with J. Anthony Brown's performance.He did not tell any good jokes,all he did was cuss.D.L Hughley's performance was good,but I have heard better from this King Of Comedy.I am generally not a fan of black female comedians,but Sommore gives a very funny performance.Bruce Bruce gives a very funny performance also.I like the way he tells the audience that he leaves the stage,and then leaves.Rickey Smiley gives a decent performance.My favorite comedian on here is definitely Earthquake.I love is joke about Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.(You know how hard it is to find someone to cook your crack cocaine the way you like it?)Overall,this is good,but the Kings of Comedy is better.

Anthony Brown that I liked.It was good,but I was expecting more from it.I was greatly dissapointed with J.Anthony Brown's routine on here.All he did was cuss.There were no funny jokes at all.His song "Mall Security Man" is stupid.D.L. Hughley's performance was good,but I have seen better from this King of Comedy.I am generally not a fan of black female comedians,but I did like Sommore's performance a lot.Bruce Bruce gave a very funny performance also.He is not clean like Walter Latham says he is.Rickey Smiley isn't clean either,but he is definitely the cleanest comic here.My favorite comic here is definitely Earthquake.He gave a very funny performance.I liked his joke about Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown alot("You know how hard it is to find someone to cook your crack cocaine the way you like it!)Overall,this is good,but The Original Kings Of Comedy is better.
