Editorial Reviews

Review

"Full of insights into the evolution of Latin American art over the twentieth century, this is one of the most comprehensive evaluations one might find. Traba analyzes the arts against the social, political, and economic forces of the times. In addition to many artists already familiar to most of our readers (Orozco, Rivera, Siqueiros, et al.), there are a great many that will be new to them. An important book for the student/historian of Latin American art." -- Art Times

This book contains enormous amounts of information, including tons and tons of personal anecdotes about the artists that are very valuable to me in my presentations. Book arrived in perfect condition, beautifully packed and early! Loved the whole experience!
