About the Author

Born in 1958 of Latin and Germanic descent, Olivier Föllmi spent twenty years photographing the Himalayas and since 2003 he has traveled across the planet with his assistants to capture its richness, beauty, and diversity.

Juan Carlos Mondragón, born in 1951 in Mondevideo, is the author of several novels, short stories, and essays and received the Premio Nacional de la Critica for Principe de Von Helsing.
