2.0 out of 5 stars Studio recording ruins the natural guitar sound, February 24, 2010

These guys are great players. But the CD sound really sucks. It's recorded in a NYC studio and artificial reverb is added to it which has totally destroyed the natural guitar timbre. It sounds chemical and cellophane. Also, the Piazzolla piece really downgrades the selection. Otherwise, nice work.
