Unlike other authors, that do not describe accurately the complexity of the politics of Latin America, or other authors that take sides-usually supporting leftist or populist political movement, the authors of this book realistically describe and strive to explain through political models, the last events in Latin America, such as the growing shift toward the left in the region. Growing of populism in the region is explained through the participation of indigenous population in the last elections in South America.
