Finally a book that does not talk down on the largest minority population in the States. I love how this book heralds our culture, food, and music. The drinks and recipes are fantastic. But on it's own, this book looks so beautiful on my coffee table. This book makes me so proud of my rich cultural background.

I love, love, love this book!! The authors take us on a spirited journey across the US and Latin America, sharing the best of Latin and Latin-inspired cocktails and recipes.

We bought this book as my husband loves latin food. We were not disappointed! The recipes are great and this is really a beautiful coffee table book. We have already bought a few more copies for some of our friends.

Excellent cookbook!! Loaded with great recipes and presentation ideas. Also, this book has sources for hard to find ingredients, and music suggestions. A real great addition to anyone's cookbook library. It made our party a real success!!

Just reading the recipe titles makes me want to try them all. You also get tips for decorating, music and attire to go with the recipes. With these, your next pool party or ladies lunch will be a sensation. The vibrant color photos spice up the book.
Some of the recipes included are lobster salad, simple sangria, brandied pineapple wheels, turkey empanadas and many more.
Another good book for theme parties is Trader Vic's Tiki Party.

These ladies have it down - beautiful photos, many Latin locations and wonderful food.. If you're looking for a great gift for the holidays--especially for someone who likes to cook and entertain--this is a fresh and modern take on 'nuevo latino'. I really enjoyed the book and I wonder what kind of taste has Pancha to prefer looking at a dog instead of beautiful ladies. I am using the book very often and the recipes are astounding!!

I love cooking and entertaining and I have MANY books on the subject. However, I was hooked on Latin Chic since I first laid eyes on it! I've already tried several of the recipes and entertaining ideas, all received to great acclaim--I can't wait to try more!

This is the book I've been waiting for. What took so long? Is it so hard to conceive a sophisticated Latin lifestyle book? While it's filled with so many traditional and nuevo
latino recipes, great cocktails, and decor ideas I love how it adds other elements of Latin lifestyle--namely travel and cultural customs. I looooove this book. Most of the food is pretty simple to prepare. The beautiful pictures really inspire you!These sexy authors need their own Spanish and English language show on Food Network!!
