When I received this tambourine I was surprised at the extremely light weight. It is a pleasure to use as I can get the rolls and sounds that I expect from a good tambourine. The head is extrememly tight and produces a very sharp drum sound. The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars is the finish. It is a little rough in places and the edge where you have to grip the tambourine is more squared than I like and it will produce blisters on my hands. For lightweight and medium use I would rate it as 5 stars. Beautiful sound and easy to play.

First off, the delivery was speedier than I expected - very happy with that. The tambourine itself is a far better quality than I was expecting for the price and it is receiving plenty of use!

I bought this tambourine mostly for practice, and even though I'm not a serious tambourine player, I can tell its fairly cheap in construction. But, it makes a sound and jingles when you hit it. The sound is a little hollow - more like hitting plastic. Speaking of which, I can't really tell what its made of. Looks like rice paper (not as fun though, which is probably good because then it wouldn't serve as a very good tambourine).

Not so hot. Spend a little more and get something that sounds better. You'll probably be disappointed if you buy this.

I bougth the new one and they sent me a used and BROKED Tambourine.
They shipped in one day but the Tambourine is used and broked, once i bougth a new one!

Do not buy that!
