I love the soft and smooth sound of this shaker. You can separate them into two and use them as maracas. I've only been able to find this at our local Guitar Center store but for $15.99. If you're planning on buying a shaker, I recommend this one.

I don't know of another shaker like this. If you want not just a quiet shaker, but one that has a unique soft quality to it, this shaker is the only one to buy. The plastic feels like a soft vinyl to me and the resulting sound doesn't have the slightest hint of harshness.
I'm not quite sure what LP had in mind designing this in a shaker pair held together with bands. You can separate them, but they actually sound better paired. Lovely sound. |
