My copy of this hilarious book was delivered to my office on a Tuesday morning. I opened the book and thought I would just scan it for some laughs...well, a little while later, I'd read the whole book!! I COULD NOT put it down. I walked around my office laughing and reading aloud to my co-workers. This author's running dialogue of pre and post life with a newborn is dead on and captivating. Being a mother of 3 girls, now waiting to be a grandmother, this book vividly brought back EVERY amazing memory of this compelling time in my life. Katie's story of little Maddie will touch your heart and make you want to be their next door neighbor. I think Katie and her husband have a house full of fun, love and reality. Her book is a reminder of how precious these years are in our families and to cherish them. It is also a huge remind to "go with the flow" and don't worry about the small stuff. I would recommend this to everyone who needs a laugh, and especially to expectant families. Go out and buy this book, and a few copies for your friends. LAUGH OUT LOUD with me!!

I received this book 2 days ago and read the entire thing that evening. I couldn't put it down! I had tears in my eyes I laughed so hard....at a book! That has never happened. Having a baby last September, I could relate to so many of the things in the book. After I had finished reading it, I went back and re-read pages that really cracked me up. I hope there's a follow up being written. I want more!!! I absolutely loved it!!

A completely honest portrayel of those first rough months!! No one prepares you for the emotional roller coaster of motherhood, it's nice to know there is at least one other mother out there who has shared the same thoughts but had the guts to write them down!! Motherhood is not for sissies, completely agree with that!!!
