Regina is one of those few artists whose style is uniquely her own. Her voice doesn't "sound" like anyone else. Its hers, unmistakably. These 2 new songs are great and I hope the new CD has even more. I do hope some of the songs are a little more upbeat than these two tho.

I can't wait for this new album to come out. If the album turns out to be as awesome as the early realease of the singles, I am hopeful that I'm not going to be disappointed. I loved her Begin to Hope, and Soviet Kitsch albums, the uniqueness of her voice, vocal stylings, and talented piano playing create a different sound that I haven't found anywhere else, and with her writing she really makes you think, but not in a way that you feel her ideas are being forced on you. These two singles are touching and poetic, she hits her mark yet again, and does it as only she can. If you haven't experienced Regina Spekter, now is the time, she's on fire career wise.
