For decades "Reader's Digest" has been nearly as beloved for its humorous anecdotes as its engaging stories. This compilation of tidbits from its long-running feature provides a great deal of wholesome laughter. As with the magazines other amusing columns, the vignettes provide abundant laughs without resorting to raffishness or ribaldry. Could that at least part of the reason why the magazine has maintained its longstanding popularity?
You may want to note that the material is from Reader's Digest over the years so it's not necessarily current. For example: "Yesterday I got my tie stuck in the fax machine. Next thing I knew, I was in Los Angeles." Haha. Oh well.

Some of the entries aren't appropriate for my residents. You need to read through them ahead of time.Published 12 days ago by Linda
It was written for an adult audience (level of humor, but not skanky), so my kids didn't get the jokes.Published 1 month ago by mratatat
I sent this book to a friend who is in rehab following a stroke. He is a firm believer in positive thinking and absolutely loved this gift. He said it is a great book!Published 2 months ago by Deb Witter
