This is an easy to use scan tool with a more than adequate display screen size compared to others in this price range. Lots of features, includes I/M (inspection) readiness and ability to see live data and graphing over time. I like the USB port feature, but it only allows you to connect to get updates for the tool, not offload data, which is my only complaint about the features of the tool. I have a KIA Spetra, which is less common than Toyotas, Hondas, etc., and it works fine on my vehicle. I have noticed once or twice it had trouble communicating with the computer. I simply had to unplug it and try again. I assume it fell out of synch and just had to be reset. This unit is powered by the cars power, not batteries.

For the price, it is hard to match the features of the CReader. In addition, it is not overly large and looks good. Scrolling through the features is not extremely fast. You have to let the cursor move to the menu item before you proceed to the next one-which only takes about 1/2-1 second-so you won't be speeding through, but it's rather inconsequential overall.

Not much really to say here, this thing is so easy to use a child could figure out what's wrong with your car.
Plug it in, press enter and you are pretty much done.
Write the problems down, and enter them into a google search and you will find all the simple ways to fix your car.

We have used it to fix multiple issues that our out of warranty cadillac srx has had with the o2 sensors. Saved us hundreds of dollars.

Well worth the money.

still trying to get item to connect with protocol on car.even though they say it has many protocols it may not work with your vehicle. should of have a listing of vehicles that it will work with.other than that item is in perfect condition . honestly if you know it can work with your vehicle it is a great buy.scans and reset faults..does freeze frame according to manual which can help you adjust settings on your car.
