Each essay is short, but will reach deeply in the reader's heart. The topics are contemporary and compelling; these are subjects that affect our world today and those for which people are seeking genuine guidance. Her words reveal an understanding of the depth of emotions in our world, as she explains situations through her own personal experiences. Yet, throughout the book, there is a solid and strong emphasis on the Word of God.
The author has effectively bridged the gap between the natural and the spiritual world. Her complete reliance on the power of God brings a taste of heaven to some of today's bitter situations. Sexual promiscuity, peer pressure, disease and even crime are discussed with a bold and frank style. Readers will know there is nothing outside of God's reach that He cannot restore and make right again.
The author clearly and consistently shows the path to an abundant life in Christ. She freely acknowledges the pitfalls, but gives praise to the One who can keep people on track. An added layer of spiritual enlightenment comes from the poems that accompany many of these essays. Intense and extremely insightful, the words of Aaron L. Slaton provide a strong commentary to his sister's counsel.
Encouraging, yet filled with many hard-hitting exhortations, this book speaks with a contemporary language and a timeless commitment to love and truth.

Message: We all have a path we must choose in life. We must be careful in who we select as friends, who we choose to date, and most importantly not choosing Jesus as our personal Savior can have dire consequences.
A life without Him is full of sorrow and regrets. If we don't choose our path soon there is something bad waiting in hell for us. So we should think about the direction in which our life is headed.
The wrong path can lead to regrettable consequences!
In this book the author shares many of these trials and tribulations and she deals with them in a frank and honest way and gives interesting advice on facing these situations.
The author writes in everyday language that people of all ages can relate to. "Launch Out Into the Deep" offers hope when it might seem like all hope is lost.
" Launch Out Into the Deep" by Acacia L. Slaton is a great book. I enjoyed reading it from cover to cover. I really enjoyed reading Chapter 8, " I Still Believe: The Cinderella Story", when the author takes the reader on a journey to the "Book of Ruth" in the Bible. There are 28 chapters in this book and all of them inspired me.
There are many great poems in this book written by Aaron L. Slaton that are beautiful poems that add to the authors writing in each chapter. This book has a beautiful cover, beautiful writing, and beautiful poetry. I highly recommend this book to people of all ages. I plan to purchase and give this book as a gift to friends I see suffering as I feel this book will reach into their heart and help them.
On the authors web-site she shared that she was inspired to write "Launch Out Into the Deep" while working at a psychiatric hospital for children and adolescents who are victims of abandonment, abuse, and neglect. The authors dream is to one day establish foster care homes for youth who are disconnected, displaced, and are in need of a loving and supportive home.
When you purchase this authors great book you are helping to make her dream a reality.
