I have used this product on several stains, including some "pit" stains on my white garment, and a barbecue sauce stain on khaki shorts. It worked like a charm. I compared it to what I usually use, which includes both Oxi Clean and Zout, and this product works better than either of those. The only down side is its price. However, it is a thick solution, and it doesn't take much to wipe out a stain.

Seriously. I read about this in a magazine. It really works. I don't have to throw out white shirts anymore. Just use this regularly in the armpits of all my shirts now. Also, removes all organic stains, like foods that are really notorious like ketchup. Try the "Classic" stain remover.

Update: I have noticed that this remover works best as a preventative against yellow staining over time -- if you use it fairly regularly to prevent yellow stain and deodorant build-up. After running out several shirts went untreated for six months -- I've tried it on these shirts that are probably too far gone, and it works some but not completely. Probably best for shirts that you are invested in and must keep in like-new, non-yellow shape!

The Stain Solution is absolutely amazing! I have a delicate white t-shirt by Calvin Klein. Somehow a blue gel ink pen was laid on my shirt and left 2 stains that soaked through from front to back. I really didn't think anything would get it out and my schedule got super busy so the stain sat for 2 weeks. Finally, I decided to tackle it. I started out using a few cotton swabs saturated with peroxide. The ink began to spread and didn't come out when I ran it under cold water. Then I remembered the Stain Solution. I put some directly on the stains and let it sit for 15 minutes. I added a little water and rubbed the stains with my fingers. The ink finally began to come out! Now my shirt is completely ink free and you would never know it had been stained!

This product has worked fairly well for me, but I don't find it amazing. I bought a small glass bottle with dropper at a bulk foods store and filled it with this stain solution, so instead of using the large bottle when I just need a little, I use the dropper to squeeze some onto the fabric. It's also much more portable this way, and am thinking about filling a second bottle to keep in my bathroom cabinet.

I used it on the skirt of an off-white linen-cotton dress and while it did remove the stain, it turned that area of the fabric bright yellow until i washed and rinsed it repeatedly. It did come out, but I did this immediately after removing the stain because I didn't know where the yellow was coming from.
I subsequently spilled some tea on a white duvet cover. Again, I immediately used this stain remover and again the electric yellow color appeared where I had applied the product onto the fabric. I again immediately rinsed that spot and washed the cover and it all rinsed out well.

SO, I think this stain remover works but I don't understand where the yellow color comes from when applied to white fabrics. Other reviewers don't seem to have this problem so possibly its the linen nature of the fabrics I used it on, or maybe I got an older bottle? It's been fine as long as I wash immediately after removing the stain, but I don't know if the yellow will come out if that isn't possible. I'll keep it on hand for spot treatments but I find that Tide gets stains out better than any other product I've used, and it can also be used as a spot stain treatment.

I absolutely love this product! Some delicate silk and cashmere garments had been sitting in my hamper for months because I was too disheartened by my previous experiences with dry cleaners who not only failed to remove the stubborn pit stain but ruined my precious expensive clothing! However, after pre-treating the months old pit stains with the Stain Solution and then hand washing with either the Delicate Wash for my silks or the Wool/Cashmere Wash for my sweaters, my clothing was as good as new! I will never use a dry cleaner again!

This product has saved many fine sweaters and shirts from the scrap pile. Of course everything I've used it on was washable and I got most stains out on the first try, the rest on the second try. I've successfully removed tomato and oil from shirts, cotton knits, silk knits and some high-end cotton sweat shirts. It did not remove or fade the color. So far it's been worth the investment.

I took a huge risk on buying this product because I am unfamiliar with the brand and the cost was astronomical for its size. But I LOVE this stain solution. I bought it over a year ago and it has assisted in the removal of blood (with the help of a cold water towel, but this worked well on the dried blood section), red carpet stains, random resistant stains on clothing and it has removed almost all of them. Remember, you will have to let it remain on for sometime, but its a stain, so what does one expect. This is worth the price, but I do wish it was a tad bit cheaper.

This product really works. I have tried several stain remover from other eco friendly brands and none of them work as much as this one. I used this on my wool, cotton, silk etc and it worked amazingly. This stain remover along with the wool&cashmere shampoo really made me a huge fan of The Laundress products.

I always have this product on my laundry shelf. It deals with a large array of stains-including blood. I also recommend the Laundress Wool and Cashmere wash. No more dry cleaning for my wool sweaters. More gentle on the fabric and much less expensive!

This stain remover worked great on yellowed pits of my shirts; I just applied before I threw it in the normal wash. I am hoping that repeat attempts on a mysterious stubborn stain on my favorite shirt will do the trick.
