Without a doubt the Laura Mercier tweezers are the finest I have ever used. They grasp tiny slivers and short hairs and pluck to perfection. They can also be resharpened by the manufacturer, and are cheaper than many of the other up-market tweezers in the Tweezerman line. These tweezers are a good value
