I like Laura Mercier cosmetics but this is just your average lip balm in a plastic case. I was mildly disappointed to discover that, despite the lovely color of the balm, it doesn't actually add any color to your lips. There are many lower-priced lip balms that do the same thing this one does.

Laura Mercier's Lip Balm is one of my all time favorite skin care/beauty items. I'm a bit of a lip balm fanatic and I've tried many brands, from drugstore to high end department store. I've yet to find one that comes close to Laura's. $20 is the lowest price I've found and it's well worth it. I always keep one in my bag and one on my nightstand. I couldn't ask for anything more in a lip balm. It's the solution for my chapped lips!

-Pleasant vanilla scent
-SPF 15 which is a must have for me
-a creamy consistency on the lips but, never sticky
-keeps my lips soft and moisturized even during the winter
-can be worn alone or under your favorite lipstick

This lip balm is the best! It's not greasy or sticky, and it makes your lips feel so soft after using it! It does not add any color, like the description states, but it works great with or without lipstick....great product!
