It's difficult to find an effective moisturizer that isn't heavy, thus adding oiliness to already oily skin areas. Eureka! This Oil-Free Moisturizer from Laura Mercier does the trick. It efficiently leaves skin fresh and smooth and holds down that tell-tale 11:00 a.m. shine. (Who whips out a compact to powder their nose anymore?)It leaves a nice matte finish which is perfect for makeup application and contains SPF 15. If it's an at-home day and you don't want to wear makeup, this moisturizer absorbs quickly and is a good canvas for a swish of blush and touch of lipstick. If you're troubled by oily skin or skin break-outs, this moisturizer's for you. (And me). At last, a way to keep the shine on your shoes - not on your face. - Gail Cooke |
