This amazingly beautiful recording of flute and piano music matches the startling painting on the cover of Moulin Rouge by artist, Dorothy Spangler. This is a five star performance by flute virtuoso Laurel Zucker.

Flute Music by French composers by Laurel Zucker and Paul Switzler is a a very useful teaching item. I now recommend it to all my flute students. This is the way the music was meant to sound.

My favorite French selections are the Perilou, Taffanel, and Busser because I was not familiar with these works. The CD is excellent in sound acoustics, recording engineering, performance of both Laurel Zucker and Paul Switzler, and Cd liner notes. This is a worthy addition to any flute afficianatos's collection.
