I had the opportunity to play one of this before buying, so I knew what I was getting. It is a cheap but serviceable little guitar for an unskilled beginner. It is better than I expected for the price. It doesn't have a very good tone but I expect a better set of strings would help. The finish on mine is excellent and it holds tuning reasonably well.

My husband was going to give my daughter a guitar for Christmas, but we knew my three year old son would want to play with it, so we got him this. It's beautiful!!! It has great sound. I don't know how well it stays in tune yet, but the sound is amazing for something so inexpensive. The neck is small, and easy for kids to play, but hard for adults, but I can do it ok.

I received the guitar quickly and happily - until I opened the package and inspected the item. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift but I returned it instead. The finish on it had so many flaws that I just could not give it. Dark particles had been sealed into the varnish on top of the lighter colored wood right on the face. In addition when I tried to tune the guitar the tuning machines just couldn't provide proper tension on the steel strings, they kept skipping and I could not reach proper tension on two strings therefore making it impossible to tune. I did not expect much for the price but i did expect it to look decent and tune so it would be playable. I do not recommend this guitar. It does not meet any sort of minimum standard.

This guitar is a good quality for kids. It tunes fair and don't stay tuned for long. The chords sound out of tune but is super fun for the kids. It don't cost a lot if it breaks too!

This guitar is nice, was bought for my sister as to have something light to carry to and from school. thus far its been a good month and the only complain ive heard is that it untunes after about 3 weeks, then again she does use it daily so its not to big of a hassle and its a quick fix i should know i do the fixing. Over all she liked it because it was light its been durable seeing as its just lugged around and soon to be painted and stickered up it seems. A very good buy if you need something your willing to abuse a little in my opinion. we also have a nice yamaha so she can practice at home as well so also another great option, bigger. But for its price and its function well worth the price, do make sure you know how big a 30" is because for my sister the guitar looked like a midget compared to a full sized acoustic.

Nice looking guitar and good size for my 6 year old son. He can hold it and use the fretboard much easier than with a full size guitar. But this guitar can't hold a tune for more than a day.

Let me first say that we are pleased with the purchase. We got it for our two-year-old in hopes of a greater love of music later on. And for that it has been perfect. Pretty well made, it handles the general bumps that come from a toddler carrying it around. He will often play with me as I play my own. But I have attempted to get good sounds out of it myself, with 'no' result. I tune it to itself...no good. I tune it to my guitar...no good. I even tune it to a specific chord...still no good (at least beyond that chord). I'm no expert, but something is wrong.

So we are happy with it for our own reasons, but I would not recommend it if you are actually desiring correct sounds when played.
