3.0 out of 5 stars Lauren Guitar, October 17, 2009
This review is from: Lauren Beginner 39" Folk-size Steel-string Acoustic Guitar

Buy this instead of a 150 to 300 back packer guitar. I have a Lauren 100 model that I have used for camping and hiking trips for over 20 years.

It is built very solid and is lightweight and still sounds good if you use light stings and change them often.

It is also a good student guitar because the wide neck allows you to see proper chord position of your fingers.

The sound is not what you would get from a Martin, but it is still the best sounding cheap guitar you can find.
